There were a number of major causes to the First World War including the division of Europe into two armed camps, national rivalry and the Balkan Question. All these factors contributed to making Europe a powder keg by 1914. Alone or singularly these issues may have been resolved or at least contained, but their lethal combination made a prolonged struggle inevitable. The conflagration was finally ignited by the murder of the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo.
Th fact that the great powers had divided into two main groups, Austria-Hungary, Germany and Italy on one side and France, Britain and Russia on the other, meant that a conflict between two powers had the potential to drag another two nations into the Read the rest of this entry »
No CommentsA beginners guide to fuel injection – Part 4
In trying to keep up with emission and fuel efficiency regulations, the fuel system used in cars has changed over the years, evolving from carburetor models to the modern multiport fuel injection system.
In fact, fuel injection systems do a better and more efficient job in providing fuel to your car engine when it is idling, cruising, or speeding down the highway, under different load and weather conditions. And with much lower harmful emissions. This is the main reason why all cars sold in the Unites States now come equipped with fuel injection.
You will find many specific variations on the injection systems in use, depending on vehicle and engine model; but under the hood of those cars you see speeding down Read the rest of this entry »
No CommentsThe Reality of Economic Sexploitation, Power and Your Wake-Up Call
Let’s talk about the sexiest women and what’s going on in our society here. I mean the women that ‘every’ guy fantasizes about. The men’s magazine ‘cover models’.
These are women that the popular men’s magazines continue to promote as fantasy and ‘out of reach’ of most men. The one’s who they don’t offer ANY practical way to succeed with.
This keeps their readers in the cycle of an ever-growing ‘added value’ fantasy world of buying more of their magazines. Look at the enormous popularity of pornography. Where else can men alleviate their repression against the daily sexuality they see exploited and evident yet out-of-reach around them?
I remember one magazine a Read the rest of this entry »

No CommentsBecoming High Voltage Communicators
Most of us are operating at less than full power, and we’re not even aware of it. Something is missing from our lives and we aren’t sure what it is.
When we operate at full power, our lives are richer because we live with authenticity, connection, meaning, service, and serenity. We are powered by passion that is grounded in love and not driven by fear-based anxiety. Service and love become our primary motivations rather than self-aggrandizement.
When we do the work of authentically packaging, promoting, and presenting ourselves we create a strong sense of identity, purpose, and self-esteem. We become what I call “high voltage communicators.” But identity, purpose, and self-esteem alone cannot ensure that we stand in Read the rest of this entry »
